Little Darlin

Spring-y ballet flats the color of lollipops? Count me very in. I, for one, am going for the Poppy ones on the far left. Taste the rainbow (shoes) at J.Crew.

p.s. I’m obsessed with the song!

p.p.s. I’m also back here.

I go back and forth on whether TOMS shoes are really ugly or super awesome. With the new spring Blue Tangier print, I’m leaning towards the latter. The color is lovely, and I’m really feeling tribal prints of late. Plus, if you buy a pair the company donates another to a child in need. And this particular pair is “vegan” (read:  made from no animal products) and is crafted with recycled and sustainable materials. I mean, what’s not fashionable about that?

Is Keds Champion Take Flight anniversary shoe the perfect summer sneaker? There might be an argument to be made for it!

Check it out here.

p.s. In honor of its anniversary, Keds will release a new, decade-inspired sneaker every month. Cool, right? The one above is 1910. I’m something of Vans girl myself, but there’s always room for another tennis shoe in my closet…

Every once in a while, I need a cheap thrill. These black suede BDG pumps from Urban Outfitters are kind of fulfilling my film noir fantasy. It’s a classic pump from the front, but the triangular heel gives it a little bit of edge. And at $48, it might just be the perfect shoe.

I am randomly sort of obsessed with being brand loyal. I find really good, high quality workmanship, and I like to stick to it. One of my favorite companies of all time ever is Frye. My first-ever real leather boots are Frye, and I wear them pretty religiously while in Boston. So I was pretty pumped to come across the above pair of ankle boots (Note: I basically refuse to call them “booties.” I am not a small child).

Entitled the “Allie Softy Pump,” the slate-grey shoes are kind of the perfect thing to get me through the Fall. The perfect compliment to dresses/skirts/jeans alike. Plus, they’re pretty much guaranteed to last forever.
